"All About Me" or in this case Colton:-)

So we have completed and survived our first full week of Kindergarten homeschool!! I can't tell you how excited I am about this.  Our weekly theme was "All About Me".

This is Colton's completed work for the week.  He did great:-)

Math- Numbers 1-5(and 0), order, recognition, how many?.....

Writing- Letters A-E

Social Studies- All about me and my family book, all about me flower, emotions, how to write my name and birthday.

Art and Music- Primary and secondary colors, torn paper art for "World of Food" book(detailed project under activities tab), watercolors and instruments of the Brass family.

Here is Weston's completed Preschool work.  He was really anxious to work with us every minute of Monday but as the week dragged on we lost his attention.

We also studied his 1st five sight words for Spelling, calendar time for Math, did his daily "Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons" for Reading, watched some Magic School Bus about the rainbow for Science, and studied up on the proper care for his pony.
