SLIME!!!! GROSS, EASY FUN:-)

I found a slime recipe on Pinterest (what did we ever do without Pinterest?) awhile back and today we decided to give it a go. Everyone was exhausted after our 1st day of school so it seemed like a fun, easy activity to wrap up the afternoon. Now my slime did not turn out like the picture perfect slim that was shown on Pinterest but then again most of my stuff from there fails to turn out picture perfect. It was most definitely slime though and the boys thought it was neat. Well most of them.........Colton refused to touch it, he did enjoy watching everyone else play with it.

Recipe

1 cup of CLEAR Elmer's glue

1 cup of liquid starch

food coloring

Put it all in a bowl and mix it up, a spoon will not work so roll up those sleeves and get messy!!

After you get it mixed up, drain all the excess liquid off of it then put the solid slime back into a clean bowl.

Have fun the more you play with it the better the consistency will get.

I put it in a Ziploc bag to play with later on, not sure how long it will keep but I'm thinking at least a couple of weeks:-)
